If you’re looking for a way to disable the touchpad temporary to prevent accidentally changing the mouse cursor position that happens when your palm or wrist touches the touchpad while typing, you may like to try the program Touchfreeze.
In simple words, when Touchfreeze is running, it locks the touchpad for a very small period after hitting a key.
